COMPLETE have been awarded the new Springfield Central Library and Noosaville Library Upgrade.
The new Springfield Central Library project is to facilitate the everyday business of an Ipwich City Council library, as well as space for community functions e.g. meeting rooms, flexible learning spaces, small event and function spacces.
The Noosaville Library Upgrade is Stage 1 of a refurbishment of Noosaville Library for Noosa Council to better utilise the internal space to resolve ongoing constraints, meet contemporary needs of the multiple customer groups currenly using the library and resolve issues with the air-conditioning and lighting systems.
We look forward to working in collaboration with Council to deliver these projects.
Tweed Heads Library is being expanded in 2017 to create a bigger, more versatile and user-friendly community facility. COMPLETE have been engaged to provide architectural detailed design and documentation.
The project will increase the library’s floor space from 619 square metres to 1054 square metres, and improved design will allow greater flexibility in how the building is used. The improvements will help ensure Tweed Heads Library continues to meet the needs of a growing community with increasingly sophisticated needs, to become even more of a community hub as a valuable public resource and a social space.
Works are scheduled to begin in January 2017 and will take approximately six to eight months to complete.
COMPLETE have been engaged by Scenic Rim Regional Council to provide documentation for the Mt Tamborine Main St project.
Documentation is to include:
- Stormwater drainage design
- Review of underground and overhead services
- Review to ensure DDA compliance
- Complaince with CPTED requirements to ensure the safety of the community
- Road Safety Audit is to be undertaken
- Telstra and Energex approvals are to be completed
Documentation is to be completed by Mid-May 2017.
COMPLETE have been engaged by Moreton Bay Regional Council to provide professional consulting services for the new Nathan Rd Sporting Precinct located at Kippa-Ring on the Redcliffe peninsula. The facility is to provide 2 Australian Football League (AFL) fields, clubhouse, playground & associated roadways & carparking on a square site of approximately 16.6 hectares. The site is intended to accommodate a 3rd training oval in the future and has a number of pedestrian linkages to neighbouring residential areas as well as a proposed wetland & existing remnant swamp oak community.
COMPLETE have been engaged to provide engineering, architectural, landscape architecture, geotechnical, irrigation & sports field design for the project. The project is to be designed in accordance with the national AFL guidelines including the AFL’s current policy for the participation of women in the AFL. It is intended to be ready for the commencement of the 2019 AFL season and represents a significant investment in the future of AFL in this region of South East Queensland.

Planning and design work is currently underway for:
- Main AFL field
- Second multi-use field
- Clubhouse and change room facilities
- Playground and picnic facilities
Construction is set to commence in January 2018.
