COMPLETE were engaged to produce a concept design for the Macintosh Island Park building on a previously delivered Master Plan 2008.

The works included design development, detailed design and construction documentation of public amenities, realignment and water quality improvements to Wildlife Island and an internal creek system.

The design of the Environmental Play area focused on children’s interactions with the natural elements and wild spaces and included the design of the interface with the Gold Coast Highway to form a western boundary, re-vegetation of the Nerang River edge, provision of pedestrian pathways and circulation, street and park furniture and the incorporation of public art.
