The COMPLETE team were engaged by Grace Lutheran Primary School to refurbish and modernise the existing classrooms and manage the construction of a new library building. Over the course of two years, the COMPLETE team managed the design, approval process, tender and construction of the works, all of which occurred within a functioning School environment. In addition to safety considerations, COMPLETE designed a detailed decanting program to ensure that all classes had functioning teaching facilities during the works, with classes progressively filling refurbished classrooms as they were completed.
The Library building connects into the existing School buildings, and the two storey building incorporates a large tuckshop, lift, offices, server room as well as the library building. With carefully selected “education specific” building materials, the refurbished classrooms provide a modern and flexible learning environment for students and teachers to enjoy.
