Comrie Fountain Reconstruction

Location: Centennial Park, NSW
Project type: Project Management
Budget: $250,000
Status: Completed
Organisation: Centennial Parklands and Moore Park Authority

The Comrie Fountain is a heritage structure which was once a centerpiece of the parklands. During infrastructure works in the late 1990’s the fountain was placed into store in its many pieces. COMPLETE project managed the reinstatement of the fountain. This required the engagement of heritage advisers, stone masons, hydraulic engineers, landscape architects and planners. A new home was required for the fountain, and it needed to integrate with the surroundings whilst serving its purpose as both a water supply for both people and animals. The project was heralded a great success.
