This important regional road link has been planned for many years and was instigated by Council to be developed in keeping with the neighbouring residential development. The project consists of 500m of road which passes through a flood zone and incorporates a 100m long bridge. During the design development process COMPLETE prepared detailed hydraulic models to demonstrate the effect of various road and bridge options. COMPLETE developed an option efficient enough to ensure the bridge length could be significantly reduced and this saved Council approximately $1M in construction costs. This project included street lighting audit & street lighting design as well as cycleway design, road design, landscape architecture, bridge engineering and lighting design.
