The Rookwood Necropolis Tree Management Study (2016) is an update of the studies prepared in 1988 and 1989 – the Rookwood Necropolis Tree Management Study (Knox & Tanner, June 1989). The earlier studies were an outcome of the 1987 Draft Plan of Management, prepared by the NSW Department of Public Works in 1987.
With the passing of almost 30 years, the Rookwood Necropolis Trust sought to update the information and provide a new survey of the selected areas, in a digital format to suit modern management practices and ensure public safety.
