COMPLETE URBAN (CU) provided project management and multidisciplinary design services to Strathfield Council for the for the design and documentation of the Begnell Park upgrade.

The park upgrade includes:

• Upgraded sports oval, with improved drainage, irrigation and lighting
• Upgraded amenities building with accessible rooftop
• Terraced seating wall/ spectator seating areas
• New pedestrian link through to Madeline Street
• New network of pedestrian & shared pathways
• New dedicated parking area and refurbished access road
• Increased tree plantings
• Picnic shelters and BBQs
• Outdoor gym

The project was funded as part of the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program (WSIG) and therefore careful program management was required to ensure adherence to the grant timelines.
