COMPLETE was engaged to develop a series of buildings to serve and support the proposed adjacent sporting facilities. As part of Stage 1, several modular facility buildings incorporating, change rooms, offices, a canteen, storage space and toilet facilities were developed to complement and harmonise with the surrounding landscape strategy.
The proposed buildings pay homage to simple shed forms by taking tangible shed references such as simplicity of form and ease of construction, whilst incorporating a number of green building design initiatives such as solar hot water and a self sufficient water supply. This project was delivered in tandem with COMPLETE’s masterplan detailed design of the proposed Barmaryee sports precinct.
