COMPLETE Urban were engaged by Scenic Rim Regional Council to undertake a desktop stormwater assessment considering proposed works as part of the Beaudesert Town Upgrade project.
The project involved comprehensive streetscape upgrades to enhance pedestrian safety, accessibility, and traffic flow. Key features include widened footpaths, raised priority crossings, traffic calming devices, upgraded lighting, and street furniture—all designed to improve the user experience and support local economic activity.
A major technical focus was stormwater management. The previous system was prone to localised flooding. The revitalisation introduced major underground drainage upgrades, bio-retention systems to reduce flood risk, improve water quality, and ensure environmental resilience.
