The inaugral Sydney 500 V8 Supercar race took place in December 2009.
COMPLETE initially carried out a full public utility inventory and service authority consultation to allow the extent of the services affected and budget costs to be determined.
COMPLETE then completed all civil design works to accommodate the race track within the Olympic precinct, including close consultation and collaboration with the Sydney Olympic Park Authority to ensure that the design intent of the precinct was preserved and compliance with the Disability Act was achieved.
During the construction phase, COMPLETE fulfilled a project administration role, including coordination of the works programme with the Sydney Olympic Park Authority and Head Contractor. COMPLETE partnered with Integrated Event Delivery Management (IEDM) and (The Sydney Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (SOCOG) to deliver this exciting project.
