Tamplin Field Redevelopment

Location: Hobartville, NSW
Project type: Project Management, Landscape Architecture
Budget: $9.795M
Status: Business Case Completed
Organisation: Hawkesbury City Council

The Tamplin Field Redevelopment proposes to be a first-class athletics precinct and will be Hawkesbury’s premier synthetic sports field serving as a resilience ground during wet weather and flood events.

The redeveloped facility will create a premier standard athletics precinct with synthetic surfacing that will extend usage and enable more interstate and inter-district events to be held in Hawkesbury. A new improved clubhouse with shaded grandstand will better cater for events and generate income. Increased participation by a range of ages will be achieved by incorporating a gym and personal training area. The playground space and dog training area will cater to a greater range of people in the community.

In May 2022, Hawkesbury City Council engaged Complete Urban to prepare a business case and provide associated documentation including a revised opinion of probable cost and 3D visualisation for the WestInvest Grant Funding Application.

The project was successfully funded by the State Government in January 2022.
