Council recently endorsed the redevelopment of the Woolgoolga Swimming Pool Complex. The complex contains a 25m outdoor public pool with separate toddler pool and water slide operating from September to April each year.
The project to re-develop the community aquatic facilities at Woolgoolga will be run in conjunction with a similar project to re-develop aquatic facilities at Sawtell Swimming Pool Complex.
The upgrade includes the design of demolition of existing pools, plant rooms and infrastructure, construction of a new 25m 8 lane pool with disabled access ramp, a heated pool, covered “Learn to Swim’ pool and ‘Wet Play’ area, amenities, changerooms, kiosk, office, new plant room, storage stadium seating, BBQ areas and picnic tables, as well as carparking and bike parking facilities.
The new design of the complex aims to provide modern facilities for the community to enjoy for years to come.
